Unicast titanium carbide (TiC) wear parts are designed to increase the wear life of wear parts in abrasive environments. Titanium carbide columns are cast within proprietary alloys for added strength and durability.

Case Study 2: After one month of TiC blow bars crushing limestone in a Hazemag HSI machine, a cement plant in Alabama reported no measurable wear. Previous to the installation of the TiC blow bars, they measured ¼ to ½ inch of wear per week on their manganese-only blow bars.
